Happy2Thrive is a newly recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on raising mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental illnesses. The organization fundraises to aid underprivileged areas while simultaneously highlighting the stories of those who have struggled with mental illnesses, as a source of inspiration.

Alongside with their many causes, they focused on fundraising for their CoVID-19 relief sector. On Saturday, October 17th, the nonprofit organization, Happy2Thrive, used their donations to conduct their first large-scale charitable work.

The Happy2Thrive team donated free meals for the healthcare workers of Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ. The team was able to fundraise nearly $1,500 over the course of 2 months through a series of successful and engaging virtual events.

Their 2 main sponsors for this event were Techwave and Dakshin. Techwave helped Happy2Thrive coordinate day-of operations and also donated a generous amount towards this cause. Dakshin, a South Indian restaurant based in Edison, NJ, sponsored the meals for the healthcare heroes.

Happy2Thrive would like to thank Ms. Debbie Millar and Mr. Craig Harley of Penn Medicine Princeton Health for cordially receiving the team members on the day of the event. They also helped coordinate throughout the entire process to ensure the event was conducted safely and efficiently.
